RPI Update 01/21

Well, our hot start in MAC play has bumped our RPI up to 52. Our game tomorrow against Miami gives us an opportunity to jump up a little more if we win, probably into the top 50, since the skinhawks are the next-best RPI team in the MAC (107). Ohio is holding "strong" at 119, and then there's a whole bunch of crap for the rest of the MAC. There are only 3 other teams that are even under 200.

East:

BG - 52 15-3 (4-0)
MU - 107 10-8 (2-2)
OU - 119 9-8 (2-2)
UB - 174 9-8 (2-2)
UA - 209 5-13 (0-4)
KSU - 240 5-13 (2-2)

West:

BSU - 160 7-10 (3-1)
EMU - 164 9-7 (3-1)
UT - 233 9-7 (2-2)
NIU - 234 5-12 (1-3)
WMU - 237 6-12 (3-1)
CMU - 280 4-13 (0-4)

As I've said before the rest of the Mac seems to have taken a step or two back while we have either at least stayed relatively the same or moved forward a bit.

We get a nice bump in his rankings because he takes scoring margin into account. We've been smoking people in our wins this year, especially on our current win streak.

This one has us as 197th--what's the difference in the two sites?

Oh man that made my day.

In related news, the WOMEN'S team dropped to 80th in the RPI after the 2 losses. We'll need to win the tourney to get to the dance at this point.
