Coach Miller's post-game comments

Coach said that when Tara Breske plays like that, they are very hard to beat. Totally agree. She is key to BG winning the MAC. The troubling comment was about Achter's tailbone injury. Coach said she was very stiff and in pain and just tried to tough it out. When Achter in not on the floor this a completely different basketball team. Goldsberry's hustle, Prochaska's skill, Breske's strength inside, Murdaugh's toughness, etc..; it really means little if the ladies don't have their floor general. If anyone knows more about Achter's injury please share.

I completely agree as well. Tara is probably the most physically dominant post when she stays out of foul trouble. Even giving up 2in. on NIU's starting C she easily won the tip like it was nothing. Tara was close to another double double again yesterday with 9 rebs. I think Kate will be fine , she just may have to start stretching more and earlier before games.. She only scored a ho hum game of 8pts but had 6 assists and only 1 TO. As long as LP and Golds and Tara play well we'll be ok.

falconboy have you ever had a tailbone injury??? you speak about it as if it were a strained ear muscle. stretching does nothing for a tailbone injury because it's BONE!!!! Only time can heal tailbone injuries, they are one of the most uncomfortable and painful injuries there are. it hampers ur daily life as far as walking, sleeping, and her sitting in class.

Saw her go down on Saturday after driving in and definitely felt for her. She was slow to get back up. Maybe she should concentrate on running the floor and let others take it in like that. She's not the type to hold back, but maybe she should "save" her body for the tourney.

You my friend take things way out of context and insinuate way too much.:? I'm merely stating that I don't believe its the end of the work/the sky is falling we're gonna suck now cuz Kate is suffering from a tailbone injury. Granted that is serious and must be terrible to play through. I cringe every time she takes a charge. The injury itself of course isn't nothing, I merely was saying I don't believe for once second our doom is imminent. Curt Miller hasn't seemed to make a huge fuss over it from comments I've heard so I don't see it necessary to go into panic mode over it. We all hope she heals and gets better soon.

Gosh I have this feeling no matter what I say you guys just love to find crap to rail on me about. Had I taken a different approach to this news of Kate's injury and starting posting dismay all over the place I'd be lambasted just well, so whatever , I don't care.

That's how I feel a lot of the time Falconboy. People will criticize for just about anything. Just remember that we're the ones standing on the floor at Anderson Arena screaming our hearts out for BG basketball, and that's all that matters.

Although, I do say that you need to start supporting the guys as much as you do the ladies. They're just as deserving of your cheers.

Hey, I've been on the sidelines for every men's game I've attended yelling and cheering on the men just like the women's games this year. Last year I just couldn't bring myself to do much of that all with no hope in sight. This year though with Coach Orr at the helm I do see light at the end of the tunnel for men's hoops. Great success likely won't come this season but I do see it coming soon.

Uh I've only seen you standing on the floor once this year, and that was Sunday, just saying

Not true. Women's game vs Ohio, women's game vs Notre Dame, men's game vs Buffalo. That was the 4th time I've been down there this year.

But since you're egging me on, there won't be one more game this season where I'm not down there. Take it to the bank. Besides, how do you even know who I am? Jerzyfag has loose lips, he probably told you.

I'll make sure I tell him you called him did :x

For the ND and Buffalo game I must have been too indo the game, as for the OU women's game, I wouldn't count that game just because of where the girl scouts were seating, hell we had less then half of the standing area we usually have

You better stick to your word, don't follow the lead of your two boys. I'm going to Omaha with Kaleena and FMBfan07 to support the hockey team, so hopefully you can get some new people standing on the sideline for th big game

Somebody just be there to say SU after BG. My voice was working @ all four games last weekend & it's going with me to cmu today. So I'm going to need some help which I APPRECIATE. I also join in all the cheers at all of the games some I don't like as well but I yell anyway. Plus I rail on the refs.
B!G fans, loyal fans try since 1974 and if I had my way since 1966 so yes I'm older than dirt but I BLEED ORANGE!!!
