They are the only team in the MAC with less average attendance than BG. Yep, the crowd was crucial down the stretch. We have a chance here to unseat UT as the attendance leader as long as we keep getting great crowds. Coach Miller also mentioned in the post-game audio that the crowd "was phenominal tonight.. and kept willing us". Thank you everyone who showed up to support this team, especially when over 60% of the points were scored by freshmen. The moral support I believe really helped gain the confidence crucial for the oncoming games.

I think if somehow Ali, Liz, Carin, and the whole sweet 16 gang was back for another year in 2007-08, the crowds at AA would be absolutely huge this year, possibly over 3500 a game. I think that most fans were expecting a bit of a dropoff this season with so many players leaving, but even with that expectation the crowds are still averaging ~1600 a game, which isn't too bad. Next year the crowds will be even better, especially if we pull off a MAC 4-peat. Yeah, actually I'd love that even more. I set my number a little low based on realistic expectations.
