Post by nwofalconfan »

Channel 13's website states that Mark Ehlen will announce that he will be leaving at the end of the season. No surpise here.

wow...Ehlen did very well for a long time but recently, not so much. Not being able to beat BG in 5 years, I'm sure, is very frustrating for him. :-D

He still has a heck of a record.

That what I was thinking after the game with them. He was a top coach in the MAC just a few years ago and his stock has fallen hard in recent years. I just don't understand why.

I hope we get to face him one more time in Cleveland. Just for old times sake. :-D

Will he throw his players under the bus when he drives off for the last time?

I got to know Mark a little bit from working the MAC Tournament every year here in Cleveland. He was always a stand-up guy win or lose. I can't say that about some of the other coaches in the league over the last 10 years.

Good luck Coach in the next chapter!
