I mentioned this before only half-joking: he could have the court named after him after all is said and done. We're still riding this wave and don't realize how truly special it is yet.
Signing the contract extention after last season was enormous. We can't offer him a million dollars, but we can offer a quality community to live in, a chance to win championships every year and the opportunity to become a legend.

Absolutely, Joe. Not all coaches are in this for the money and Coach Miller has proven he is all about building and sustaining success at BGSU. I am so grateful he and his staff have remained here to coach OUR team. The results speak for themselves.JoeFalcon wrote:I mentioned this before only half-joking: he could have the court named after him after all is said and done. The coaches, of the ones I've talked to after games on the floor, seem like really nice people. It seems like the team and coaches are one big happy family (except when Miller stomps and goes crazy sometimes). The fact that the assistants will stay and chit-chat with friends/fans after games shows that they care about the whole community around them. They've really done a good job building this program, and it seems like they've done it without forgetting about BGSU's core values. This reflects on the players, who are hard workers and dedicated individuals on and off the court. This really is the model athletic program at BGSU for the others to imitate.Falconfreak90 wrote:Absolutely, Joe. Oh, and 3 straight MAC Championships and a trip to the Sweet 16 last year doesn't hurt 8)

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

All the coaches live in BG which wasn't always the case. You could see them places in BG other than 2A. I, too am glad that the group remained in tact. It's a winning, hard working combination.bgsufalcon24 wrote:The coaches, of the ones I've talked to after games on the floor, seem like really nice people.
