What, you mean we have to pay?!! RARGH RARGHH!!

Well, I'll be there at any rate. It'll be a nice send off for Kate and Whitney, and a great experience for our young players. Hopefully we end the year at AA on a high note Thursday night.

The only question going into the game vs Dayton is who are the other Goldsberry's rooting for.

This is great news. Unless something happens, I am going to be there. I am dragging my girlfriend to the game. She loves basketball, but I think she gets enough of it during the season that going to another game that doesn't include me in it is not what she is looking for in her first trip to Columbus. I thought my brother wasn't the smartest guy in the world when he planned his wedding on what not only is Easter weekend, but also the first weekend of the tournament. All of this can be forgiven now, as I get to make my first game at AA in 8 years. Man I am so excited. Do you think I am going to have to order tickets ahead of time, or will there be tickets available when I get there? What are the expectations? I mean ticket wise, the other expectation is nothing less than a BG WIN!

Won't be able to make it as I work until 5:30 but will be listening over the net. It isn't the NCAA but I love the fact this team keeps playing...and gets another home game.
Why not go out and win the WNIT? After Dayton *would* be Michigan State with a possible matchup with Kansas down the bracket. Michigan and Miss State are also in our bracket. Those are some BiG names.
GO FALCONS!!! BEAT DAYTON!!
BG vs U. of Dayton Thurs. March. 20,2008 7pm AA.

Just ordered my ticket this afternoon as soon as I got home and read that we're playing UD. This game won't be easy as UD has 7 Sr.'s on their squad , 4 girls over 6'2 and a seemingly athletic squad. They beat a couple of teams that we lost to ie, Indiana and WMU. One thing I'm looking forward too is NOT having any Mac refs (hopefully

) doing the officiating. CAA, Big10 , whoever , I don't care just no Mac refs please.
Hopefully we get our shooting touch back and we can make this WNIT a much better send off for Whit and Kate.
GO BG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DESTROY THE FLYERS!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that in college basketball, officials aren't organized by conference, only region. For example, the same refs who do our games in the MAC also do Big Ten games, Horizon League games, Dayton's games, etc. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll do no such thing because you are absolutely correct.

Houston, safe travel. You will be able to walk up and get seats that night. The caveat is close to game time the ticket window will back way up so arriving a little earlier (if possible) is better.
I think the "regulars" will be turning out for this game. I am hoping our students will pay the $4 and support this team. This would be very helpful. I hope guys like Peregrinner can get off and get to the game. We need those kind of crazy student fans on hand.
Dayton is very tough and play a bunch- I mean a bunch- of seniors plus a talented frosh in Daugherty. So let's cheer our team on. As other posters mentioned, this team and staff have earned our support. iIcan now say it- who would have ever predicted 25 wins for this young team? Kate is a great leader and Whitney has/is doing her best off that bad injury. And Goldsberry is a super junior. But really we play a soph and five freshmen in the rotation a nine/ten rotation. Amazing.
Go Falcons!
