I'm off in a bit. MSU is big challenge for the women but if we can get shooting touch back I think we can get em. Hope to see a great number of BG fans there.

Michigan State's size advantage is hard to ignore. Breske, Murdaugh, Albert, Uhl , and the other posts have their work cut out for them. If it is even close on the boards, I would be surprised. BG will need to turn up the pressure on Sparty's guards and create turnovers to nullify that rebounding advantage. Dehaan is 6'9", but I think she's not seen many athletes like Breske. On a side note: Prochaska played against MSU''s point guard, Courtney Davidson, in the Lauren's freshman high school year in the state semi finals. Lauren lost that one, but got revenge her junior year beating the same team for the state championship.
I predict a close one today. Achter and the others may have a hard time finishing near the basket because of Dehaan.

Your were right on Dehann, although she really isn't that good , missed a bunch of makable bunnies but also made a few key turn around short jumpers that none of our posts could really get defend against. Murdaugh had the toughest time inside and never really got going much. Uhl had an easier time when she was in. The girl that hurt us the most inside was only 6'1 but had a big frame and was stronger than most of our posts cept maybe Breske. All in all MSU didn't impress much at all and they coud've easily been had in AA.

From reading Coach Miller's post-game quotes, rebounding was a problem down the stretch. Needed a few more 3's to drop to make this interesting. Achter must have been amazing as usual. Congratulations Kate on a great career. I wouldn't be surprised to see her in a broadcasting position somewhere down the road. She speaks so eloquently and succinctly about the game.

Nice use of "eloquently" and "succinctly" +1

I agree she could make a great broadcaster, I also think she could be a great coach. Lets just hope that if she chooses either it comes after a nice WNBA career :D
