I don't know for what year this supposed "commit" would be for as we're pretty much set for the '09 class. I haven't heard squat about any Genoa players committing to BG, but if you ask factman nicely he might divulge some info if he has any.

She's a senior this year so it would be for next. I really don't think she is talented enough to play at BG so I was shocked when I read on the other MB she had committed here. Thanks for the info

What bulletin board did you see that post? I have heard nothing, and BG is pretty full thru 2010 with the two transfers.

My sources tell me that she will indeed be a walk-on at BG!

Yep, I got the same confirmation last night. Welcome aboard Simone!! Even if you are from Genoa...

From reliable sources, Eli has been a regular at BGSU games over the last few years and dreamed of being a Falcon. Eli will join the team as a walk-on for a minimum of two years. She will have an opportunity to earn a scholarship her Junior year when the Falcons will have 6 scholarships available for the Class of 2011.

This sounds really great for the Falcons and for Simone! There is no better incentive for a player, in my opinion, than knowing that you could become a scholarship athlete at a Division I institution. I wish her all the best and I hope she finds ways to contribute to this team! Work hard, and you'll earn the reward. If there's one thing we can say about Curt Miller is that he knows hard work and determination when he sees it!

So true. Is it possible for this coaching staff to run the program any better than they already do?
