HARTFORD COACH QUOTE

Here is a quote from the head coach coach from the Hartford, Connecticut newspaper:
"Today's game was another tough road test for us against a great program," Hawks coach Jen Rizzotti said. "We feel that we learned a lot about ourselves over the past few weeks, and we will use it to better prepare ourselves to open conference play after the New Year."
Always nice to see the compliment. Interestingly, the coach was NOT happy with the officiating, as she earned a T there toward the end of the game............she also had her team all lined up ready for post-game handshakes when there was a foul called with .3 seconds left, and seemed reluctant to to have her player shoot the free-throws..........in the Blade article on Monday, Ryan A. quoted Jen Rizzotti as saying the officials "had no integrity"........not sure where he got that from, as he included no other quotes from the coach..........hmmm......maybe a person heard her say that along the sideline?
Admittedly, one of the primary reasons for my choice of sitting on the east side is watching the antics, personality, and "sideline manner" of opposing coaches (and Curt as well)...........always a good time!
Other tidbits from women's basketball: Temple beat Ball State by 5 this week, and St. Bonaventure beat Cornell by 20+........(we won a tournament in Cornell last year).........
Kent State is on a roll...........they are 9-1 now...........guess who our first MAC opponent is this year on January 7th in Kent, Ohio? Will be a great game. Wonder if any single Falcon will score 7 three-pointers there like Whitney did last year? lol THAT was a great moment to witness.......
Dayton tournament...........here we come! ROLL ALONG WOMEN!
