Yup, we sure do. We're tied for 44th in the nation with Richmond, who also has one vote.
Our RPI right now is 66th, our SOS is 241st, which seems awfully low considering that we have beaten 4 teams in the RPI top 100, St. Bonaventure, Hartford, Dayton, and Kent State. (We've also played Temple, who we lost to.) Some of the teams we played early on must be really terrible.
GO BG! CRUSH THE REDHAWKS!!!

We can thank the Blade's ROCKET beat writer for that vote... She's legitimately impressed with the team and the streak is something she felt should be rewarded!
Thanks Maureen!

It would be nice to see the ESPN/USAtoday poll. Maybe Sue up here at CMU could cast a vote for her conference member?

It's just nice to see. This program has proven itself the last 5 years....going for #14 in a row is very impressive.

If at any time this season BG does not have a vote in the AP poll please harrass Maureen at:

Despite a very impressive week, BG did not pick up any additional votes in the AP poll for 1/19. We're tied with Wisconsin-Green Bay for 39th in the country.
Our RPI is 58, our SOS is 225. According to realtimerpi.com, we have 5 "quality" wins this season (St. Bonaventure, Hartford, Dayton, Kent State, Miami), and one "bad" loss (Valparaiso).
Our next two opponents, Buffalo and EMU, are both over 250 in RPI, so our SOS and RPI might keep dropping even with victories this week. This stinks.

Never thought I would say this, but thank you espn. However, there seem to be some teams whose records and "quality" wins/losses are not nearly as impressive as ours. Life as one of the "little" guys (or girls) i guess.
