The team is 100-17 since Goldsberry's first season. Amazing. This program is just amazing......

Not to distract from the great game, but people, learn how to park in a straight line! I was trying to park in the AA lot today and this one lane got narrower and narrower until it eventually closed up entirely. I had to tell the two cars behind me they had to back out just so I could get out. It was weird, I had never seen anything like that before.

Once we got inside though, the game was awesome. It's readily apparent why McCoy transferred, Akron is horrible. They couldn't shoot for beans.

Kudos to the fans....official attendance was 2,246! Way to go.

Can our men's team get some shooting tips from the women? BG followed up that 33-36 FT performance against Miami by hitting 19 f 21 today. Freakin eh....we have to be leading the country, or near the top in that stat.

TOGETHER WE ATTACK...

We're 10th in the country at 76.6%, and we've attempted the most FTs in the top-10.

The men are at 69%, which surprisingly isn't far outside the top-100 in the country. Texas A&M is at 101st, and they shoot 70.9%.

Twenty-nine point point victories probably make a statement to the voters eh?

Glad to see Laura get some minutes yesterday. I met her parents in East Lansing for the NCAA tournament pep rally and have been pulling for her ever since.

FWIW, our RPI actually dropped two spots from #53 to #55 following the victory over Akron.

Guess I should use some eye rolling smileys to indicate my sarcasm. I posted that directly after reading about the RPI.

I saw Akron play Houston down here right after Christmas. They are really struggling with really only one good player on the team. Jodi has had some good players leave the program the last couple of years. She is a good coach, I am kinda surprised she is struggling like she is. I do know that she works hard, and expects her staff and players to work as hard. Her whole coaching staff left this summer, and I'm not sure how much longer she will be there. I know that the administration gave her their full support when the two freshman left after last year, but if she keeps struggling like this, it's going to be hard to retain her. It really makes one proud to be a Falcon and know that the coaching staff at BG is doing such a great job and staying together for all of these years. Congrats to the coaching staff and ladies on their success this year, and I'm looking forward to seeing them make the tournament again this year.
