So with this being my first season following MAC basketball, especially women's, I have a few questions for all of you.
First, I'm really interested in going to the tourney. What do you figure will be the prices? Do they sell single game tickets or just an all-game pass? What were the prices for each last year? Do they have a student price? And do you buy them through BG or the MAC?
Second, how is the atmosphere for the women's tourney? Would it be worthwhile to go?
And lastly, how much more does the men's tourney cost?
Any other info is appreciated.
Thanks alot!!!!!

This will give you a lot of the info you asked about.

BG will sell tickets through the ticket office once the games are scheduled. The turnouts for BG women's bball has been GREAT the last few years and I don't see that changing this year. Unless you're hammb and hate women's hoops, our games are actually fast paced and entertaining. Our ladies are good...definitely go to Cleveland and watch!
Also, if it's still sponsored by Kraft, you can bring some Mac N Cheese to donate and get a free ticket I believe. Parking has never been a problem and there are some great places to eat around the Q as well.

Re: MAC Tourney Questions??
Suggestion: get your tix thru BG ...and avoid an "EXTRA" $2 "service charge" PER TICKET at the box office... I personally have always felt this is a big ripoff via ticketmaster or whoever is in charge of the tickets these days. Watching someone reach into a pile of tix, pull out a couple and charge $4 for "handling" always gets me upset.BgWaRrIoR wrote:So with this being my first season following MAC basketball, especially women's, I have a few questions for all of you.

Definitely go to the tourney!!!!
It is an amazing experience and will be well worth the drive and time to see it. I loved it last year going with the band - granted everything was basically free for us so I can't relate to past/current prices, but the atmosphere of the game and the experience of the overall trip in my opinion would well be worth just about any amount of money to go!!
We usually outnumber everybody in terms of fan support. I have a picture of last year of the "Sea of Orange" in the game vs. Ohio. It was great to see such a good crowd.

Thanks for the info, guys
I just found this on the MAC website:
Ticket Prices: Men's tickets are priced at $17.00, $27.00, $32.00, and $49.00. Floor seats are available. Women's tickets are priced at $10.00 (general admission). A $2.00 facility fee applies to each ticket.
My only other question is do students buy special tickets or does everyone just sit wherever?
