The way we have been disrespected by the coaches and media, I wouldn't be surprised if we got leapfrogged

I'll believe it when I see it. 23 wins in a row. What more do our ladies have to do?

Move to a new conference

Could anyone with a normal number of synapses truly deny that winning 23 games in a row - REGARDLESS of conference - is a resounding feat?!

Yes. The NCAA Selection Committee.

Well, like I said: a NORMAL number of synapses. Although I readily agree that normal doesn't do us much good when it comes to the Selection Committee. How about some sense of normalcy for the media and coaches voting in the polls?

Here's the way I see it. Last week we had 45 votes. The next closest teams behind us were Gonzaga and Arizona State with 16, and Depaul and Marist with 13. Gonzaga lost at Pepperdine this week, so they're going to fall. Depaul only played once this week, they beat an unranked Syracuse team. Marist so far has a win against Manhattan, and they play Rider today. Really we don't need to worry about any of them.
Arizona State, meanwhile, is on a 12-game winning streak. Their only win this week was against a sub-.500 Arizona team (a game they didn't look great in BTW). Still, for those that believe that small conferences always get snubbed, this would be that scenario. There's no freaking way that Arizona State should be able to make up a 29 vote gap in a week, with a comparable game and victory to what we had. We'll find out on Tuesday.

#23 Iowa State goes down to a 3-9 in conf Kansas team, so they're out also. #24 Notre Dame is getting predictably whooped by UConn as well.

I knew somebody would jump on that. #20 just went down. Good day for us.

Notre Dame probably will move up, considering that they only lost to Connecticut by 10. If they stayed the same or moved up 1 I wouldn't have much of an objection.
Vanderbilt will probably still be moving up, if not staying the same due to their upset win over #3 Auburn earlier in the week.
Iowa State's out. They've lost 3 of their last 4, and to an unranked team today. No excuse for them not to drop out.
Ditto for Middle Tennessee State. Lose to a team with a 200+ RPI, and you're out. Period.
I say we come in at #24.

24,
No offense, but they obviously don't agree with your evaluation.
