First round pairings are up on the womens NIT site, no BG listed.
I assume that's a bye and home game Mar. 21-23.

Where do you see a BYE listed? I don't even see a link for the 2009 bracket!

I'm very confused by all of this. Why don't they announce the seeding of the entire field like the NCAA's and the men's NIT?

16 matchups listed for 16 first round games.
Either BG gets a bye, or they got ROYALLY screwed by not even getting the automatic bid they earned.

OK, so I guess the source of my confusion is a bit more fundamental than I first suspected. First, is this a field of 64 in the WNIT? Second, why is this their website so...'slummy?'
Yes I made that word up, and I like it.

whats so hard to understand about it? 48 teams with 16 byes...seems pretty straight forward to me...but anyway, i'm excited to host a game, kind of hoping for the 'cuse just because it's a little bit better of a name.

BO,
There are 48 teams in the WNIT...thus 32 1st round games, followed by 16 byes playing the winners...but then, you probably already know this by now.
