there is what about 20,000 plus students at BG right?
if so why do only 200 if that show up at the games?
student's get in for free right?
more student's should be there cheering the falcons on to victory

They're all busy watching Ohio State or drinking. Also, women's basketball has lower attendance almost across the board than men's

I'm not even going to take the time, but I could probably link about 300 threads on azz.com that ask this very question.

There are so many reasons that you wouldn't really understand considering you ask this question once a month, and get the same responses. But I'll take the time to name a few and see if you are okay with them...
1. Not all people like sports, and have never, and will never, attend a sporting event, regardless of price.
2. Some people who do like sports, don't care to watch woman's basketball, regardless of the quality of game being played.
3. 20,000 are undergraduate students. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I'd estimate around 20% commute from their homes as far as an hour away. Free or not, they most likely do not want to make another trip just because it's free (particularly when you combine this fact with #1 and 2)
4. Of those 20,000 students, most have additional jobs or internships, which take up a lot of time and energy.
5. With limited free time for some students (work, studying, meetings, groups, fraternities/sororities, etc.), perhaps spending time with friends or family doing something they enjoy more is what they'd rather be doing in favor of attending a sporting event.
6. Said groups above, along with classes and jobs, often have meetings that take place at night. Some students are unable to attend due to prior arrangements.
So, everyone knows you're xtreme and you support the basketball teams for 20 minutes of a game, but can you stop trying to call out all the students. We can't all be xtreme.

I just have to ask...since you are such an xtreme supporter of the women's basketball program, that means you weren't one of the people protesting the Stroh? I walked outside and listened to those idiots for a little while just to get a good laugh, but if you were protesting it, then there is something xtremely wrong with your support. That's like the people that "support" their local schools but vote no on every school levy.

In response to your original question, the 200 free tickets for students from the VP of Student Affairs have all been given away. I went 4 hours after it started and they only had 5 left
