Just voted - right now she's out in front - let's make sure it's no contest because it really is no contest, Coach Roos is a major part of our Women's hoops success.

The only reason I wouldn't want her to win this is to keep her a bit hidden from the programs looking to possibly poach a successful program of their great assistant coaches. She is most certainly deserving, I just want her here with Miller building this dynasty for a long time if possible.

I agree with everything but the not wanting her to win part. Coach Roos is on the radar of all the coaching "head hunter" groups out there - BasketballScoop.com is just one example. Us showing her how much we value her will go a lot further toward keeping her here.

I agree. I think people already know about BGSU and its kick-AZZ coaching staff. Roos winning this award wouldn't do anything other than show her and the other coaches how much they are valued here.

Last I checked, she was in first place!

You might also want to check out what is said about BG's coaching staff under the "Deserving Credit" Link on the left hand side of the page. Scroll down to the February 10 posting. Great reading about how well respected the BG staff is by their peers.

Coach Roos is +110 on the 2nd place vote getter.

She is a great asset to the team, hopefully she enjoys her current situation and wants to be a Falcon forever.

Thanks for the heads up - I had missed that. It is a testament to both BG and to Coach Miller that they have earned such loyalty from an extremely talented staff.
