Thought someone would've mentioned this by now. Coach Roos certainly deserves this honor. I wonder what her chances of winning this are.

After attending the banquet tonight, I have a very good feeling about Coach Roos being named one of the 5 winners

Saying it is well deserved is an understatement. You can see how important Coach Roos is to this program every game. On the opposing side, the head coach huddles with his staff, listens to their suggestions and then tells his players what he/she wants them to hear. On BG's sideline, Coach Roos has complete control of the first half of full time-outs, no running things past Coach Miller, no suggestions or "maybe we should's". Coach Miller has such confidence in her that he long ago relinquished the defensive decisions to her. A strong testament to her ability and a strong testament to Coach Miller caring more about the success of the program than his ego. Congratulations Coach Roos, we are blessed to have you.
