Not wishing to start a rumor, that's why I'm using no names, but two BG employees have told me that a women's BB starter had her scholarship pulled and won't be back.

Anyone else hear this?

My sources tell me that Lindsey Goldsberry will not be back with the team next year. I hear she has been ruled ineligible. Not trying to spread rumors but I got this from a very reliable source.

I got it directly from Lindsey which should be a pretty good source. She'll still be in school though. I guess they wouldn't grant her the "Wasean Tait" twelve years to play six exception.

It is true...

If it's true, it's not a rumor.
If it's not a rumor, name a name.
By dancing around this thing, 3 innocent young ladies are being whispered about, their reputations questioned, "I wonder if it's her?"
If you are certain, spare the innocent by naming the guilty.
If you're not certain, shut the hell up.

I must agree with those that are calling for a name. I personally wish some of you could wait until the university and coaching staff come out and say something. There are kids involved, and if only one is not coming back, there are others that are going to be talked about. Unless the player involved told you directly, and she said it was ok to say something, then don't say anything at all. I personally don't care if it's true or not right now, that's between the coaching staff and that player. When it becomes public, then we can talk about it. Even then we are not going to know the whole situation. I have been part of players leaving before, some of them in the middle of the season, and it sucks. We don't have an SID that puts out that information on a website, so the only way to let people know was to tell them. But until we see it in the newspaper or on the website, let's not talk about it. Sorry for the rant, but I have been under stress not knowing if I will be in coaching next year, and this kind of stuff is setting me off a little bit. I know how rumors get started, and I know that kids take things personal. I also know that the coaching staff looks at some of the things that are written, and I am positive they don't appreciate people speculating about things and letting out rumors about what is going on in their lives and within their team.

I agree with HoustonFalcon...can we at least wait until the official word comes out???

it says because mccoy's scholarship wasn't renewed...interesting...i wonder if it was because of the trouble she got into?
