Falcons Start Preseason Practice

BG got to start practicing on Sunday because of their trip to Costa Rica next week.

I think it's especially nice that this trip was paid for entirely by an anonymous donor. That really is a great way to give back!

I'm excited for this opportunity that the ladies have with this trip. It's a great way to start the season running. I hope the games can be broadcast on the radio, that would be frickin' sweet.

With the trip coming before the fall semester starts, and with the expenses involved, I really doubt the student radio crew will be making the trip. Unless they were somehow paid for by the anonymous donor or similar sources, of course.

This will be an invaluable experience for the team on many levels. They get to travel, play some good competition, and most important start practices before everyone else. I know that when they get back they can't practice as a group like they are right now, but getting the freshman started on what they will be experiencing starting Oct. 15 will let them know what they need to work on in the weight room and individually during the two months or so that they have before practice starts again. Thank you anonymous donor for helping to make this possible.
