I was kind of hoping for a couple more "name" OOC games, but maybe we'll get that in the WNIT. At Vandy is the only game that would really grab voters' attention.
Some strong mids in there though - should be some good tests before conference play.

Yep, if we win & tOSU wins, we'll probably be in Columbus a few days later

Curt sent out a great quote on Twitter last week. "Game scheduling is like HS dating for me...EVERYONE says NO!!" That is a direct quote. It sucks for Curt because he really is trying to get some better competition, but is is good for us because it means that people don't want to schedule a game that they might lose. I'm sure some of those no's are coming from bigger schools that don't want a one and one or something along those lines. But I'm sure a bigger part of it is the fact we aren't a pushover, and he is doing a great job with the program. Sorry Coach that you are having a hard time with scheduling, but thank you for all you have done and continue to do for this program. And also thank you for everytime you have stopped to talk with me at the Final Four the last couple of years. Looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio.

I laughed when I read that one when he sent it out. I still have that one on my phone.

Yeah, I remember that update well. It just goes to show you that many of these bcs teams are pansies. Why won't they grow a pair and play us? They'll gladly go to some fellow bcs conference team's home court and play but they won't our's. It's ridiculous. Not sure how much easier things will get once the Stroh is in effect but we may still have some problems even then.

The home schedule is dissappointing. Really wish we could get some good BCS schools to play us home and home. I seen elsewhere that Louisville and Michigan State would be playing at Dayton this year, so not every BCS school is avoiding mid-majors.

It really makes no sense at all though for a BCS school to want to play BG. If they win, they were supposed to, and if they lose, all hell breaks loose....
As much as we would all like to see those matchups, in most cases, it's a lose-lose situation for the bigger school.

Wouldn't that disqualify them from Womens' BBall?

That was aimed more at the those schoo's AD's , not the teams themselves.
