It was something that had to be done anyway. His contract end was looming not too far away and to help shore up recruits you gotta get that extension out of the way. Obviously deserved and I can't wait to get this season tipped off already.

Great news--and I know it is selfish, but I hope we can keep the whole staff together throughout the same time period.

"I would also like to thank my extremely talented assistant coaches for their hard work and dedication to our program. Their ability to attract high-level basketball players with incredible character has been the secret to our championship success. Finally, I would like to thank our former and current players for believing in our vision and helping establish the culture of championship success at BGSU."

Anyone know how much that contract is worth? I would hope he's the highest paid in the MAC at the very least. My gut instinct seems to make me think that he's not . . . :(

Yes, 2013 is just a few short months away....

Anyway, heard Rob Powers make a comment this morning that what Curt has accomplished is nothing short of amazing. Mr. Powers trying to be witty???

I don't have a lot of extra cash floating around, but if BG needs it to keep Curt around just give me a call.
