Prochaska returns to the Schott

Sunday afternoon won't be Lauren's first time playing in the Ohio State's Schottenstein Center. She played there as a high school frosh and junior in the state tournament. Her second trip resulted in a championship. Let's hope she has a similar ending Sunday. I've heard that OSU recruited Prochaska for a short time before turning their attention to other players. Although Prochaska probably is not the type for personal vendettas, she may still have some extra motivation against the Bucks on Sunday. Here's guessing a large contingent of Plain City residents make the short drive from Lauren's hometown to attend the game and cheer on the village's favorite daughter.

From the rumblings I've heard in Cowlumbus, OSU didn't recruit her because she was too skinny. Made more than a few folks around the capital city upset with Coach Foster. Actually, I'm quite pleased the "Princess of Plain City" wears the Orange and Brown!

Coach Miller had mentioned that Lauren had "bulked up" a bit over the summer but may have lost some due to mono a while back. Regardless, she's a stud and she's our stud. 8-)

Young lady's head must be spinning- called a "playa" and a "stud" in one thread. What IS a "playa"? I know in Spanish you'd want to be pretty careful Freak- playa means beach.

As I was purchasing my tickets this afternoon, the gentleman standing behind me told me he is a big OSU fan but was decked out in orange because he was rooting for BGSU and Lauren. He's one of the many OSU fans upset with Jim Foster for not recruiting her.

He said he used to work the recruiting trails for Eldon Miller and the men's squad and that Lauren was by far one of the best basketball players he had seen.

He also told me that when Foster leaves OSU, he hopes OSU looks to northwest Ohio for their next head coach. He said that if Curt was at OSU, they'd have been in the Final Four last year. He was very big on Curt and the staff.

So KUDOS to Coach Miller and the staff for not only recruiting the "Princess of Plain City" to northwest Ohio, but also for making those OSU fans jealous as we know we have the best basketball coaches in Ohio! (But don't even think of leaving for that school)

Coach Miller very well may be a better coach, you can certainly make an arguement, but there's no way OSU was beating Stanford last year in the tournament I don't care who the coach was.

So you're saying if he has a chance to quadruple his salary and be in a position where he could concievably compete for a national title he shouldn't do it? Seems pretty selfish.

I'll drive the U-Haul to Knoxville or Storrs for him. Not selfish at all.

Except I'm pretty sure Pat Summitt would have to die before that job will come open.
