Good for you. There's a cookie in the ticket office for you.
Did you really not learn ANYTHING from this same go-round last year?

Well my Dad has been a supporter for 27 years! He is disabled and doesn't stand up because of his disability. He was a main contributor to the girls summer vacation this past year. So I guess according to you he isn't a big supporter of the team.

About 4 blocks, 40 degree difference in the weather and 13,000 people.

Well maybe you should let the developers know that in the new Stroh Center we should only put steps in the G.A. section that way you are forced to stand. Last time I checked, the term bleachers meant, I raised, tiered, stands for spectators to sit at sporting events. I could be wrong though. So maybe we should not put in any seats in the new arena and have SRO

maybe you're the reason no one stands, you, along with a couple others that join you, are the reason I don't

We did go around about this last year. Standing up the entire game does not equal a super fan. I sit up in section L in the the wooden chairs. I don't stand up because then the people behind me can't see the game. I make lots of noise without standing up. The coaches and the team want noise. It doesn't matter whether you are standing or sitting when you make that noise. Let's continue to cheer positively and support the women's team throughout the entire season.

There being approximately five people standing during a game may in fact be true.
However, your implication that those who did not stand are not supporting their team is false.

OK I thought we worked this standing up thing out last season. Just because some schools in the East, South, West & North have students who stand up for the whole game why do we copy them? A cookie cutter school didn't interest me way back when Anderson opened, it still doesn't. BGSU is unique. Let's keep it that way.Think of something new ---a positive cheer maybe. In replays of the games on BCSN the announcers always comment about people standing & not being able to call the game because they can't see through the people unlike some refs I know. When the coaches wave their arms up they want the volume increase. Some of the biggest benefactors of the program sit in their seat & watch the game. Others cheer from their seat, sometimes giving some advice to the refs---loudly. Everyone has a role---please don't tell me or insinuate that because I can project my voice better sitting than standing, I'm less of a supporter than anyone else. Or because you stand you're more important/bigger supporter. Just fill a seat or a space---no spots disguised as fans. Be a fan as best you can, but don't impede anyone else's enjoyment of the game. Stand @ the north end of the court & heckle the foul shooters first half & give body english to our women in the second half---to make the shot go in.
If you can't hear me you're not listening & I've been told that I can be heard across the arena, on the radio & some people who work alot harder at basketball than me want noise of any kind. Be the 6th man as best you can.
