BG vs Vandy Tonight....

Game tips off at 8pm. Big test here as we will likely be out matched inside and out. Will have to play much better half than we did vs OSU. Can't have a stretches where Vandy goes on a tear offensively while we score no pts. Again the idea here is to shoot extremely well from outside , if we can do that we gotta chance near the end.

This is a big deal game for BG. If they are able to win this game, or even play Vandy very tough I think it would really be a big confidence booster, not to mention a boost to our overall tournament resume.

The bottom line is, the two good teams we've played so far, we've lost against both. The stakes are high.

I agree that we have to shoot a lot better against Vandy, because they are big, and certainly without Breske we're not going to be able to contend with that size. That doesn't mean that our players shouldn't try to get to the basket and the foul line, but it's going to be tough treading inside. Our outside shots have to go down if we're going to have a chance.

Probably the best half you could ever hope for against the #14 ranked team in the nation. Now we gotta get prepared for Vandy's onslaught in the 2nd half to try and get back into the game. We must step on the throat and not let up.

46-31 Bowling Green leads at the under 16:00 timeout 2nd half. Vandy's gotten all their 2nd half points in the paint thus far, but BG has scored twice down low as well. Keep attacking ladies!!

This is the second game I've been able to watch and it seems that at times this team plays very timid. They appear to be easily flustered. Hopefully, they can gather themselves quickly.

Some really sloppy play here in the 2nd half by the Falcons, but they still lead it 51-43 with 10:55 remaining. Gotta stop turning the ball over.

55-50 Bowling Green with 7:05 left. I cannot believe we're winning this game right now. We must've gone at least 3 minutes without even putting up a shot with all those turnovers. Just fugly basketball on both sides right now.

The turnovers are going to kill us if we can't find a way to limit them.

Yeah....it's very frustrating to watch. Wish I could have seen the first half. We're almost to about 25 turnovers now I think. Come on BG! Gotta hang on and win this one!

I don't know what to say really, but the words "pissing down their legs" comes to mind. We've had no mental toughness whatsoever, and it seems as though NOBODY wants to take the shot on most of our possessions.
