Great to start off the with another double digit non-conference win season! Way to go ladies!

Impressive 32-40 on free throws! Not so hot on FGs, but I'm sure they can regroup for the next game.
Prochaska: 7-16 FGs 3-7 3FGs 10-12 FT 27 total points and 9 rebounds

What a game!

Let's start MAC play with a win over Akron on the 6th!

Together we attack!

I was actually not very happy with today's game... we looked flat, especially considering that we were playing against a 2-win OVC team that we DESTROYED last year. Shooting tonight was mediocre, we're still giving up some easy rebounds, and we didn't really seem to be able to find a rhythm offensively. Granted, the crowd was a little flat today, but it's a little scary when a team this loaded with talented upperclassmen has to look to it's freshmen for a spark. I'm worried going into the MAC... Here's hoping Coach Miller and his staff find a way to light a fire! Go Falcons!!

Seems like a lot of the "role players" got extra time today. Maybe Coach Miller was using the distribution of playing time to motivate some people through the seat of their pants. I felt at times he was bound and determined to use this game as a final measuring stick to see who was ready to play MAC games.

Unfortunately being home for break, I didn't get to go to the game; but, when I pulled up live stats and saw 42-38 BG in the 2nd, I was a little worried too. There were times I saw who was on the floor and was puzzled. I know at times there were 3 freshmen on the floor and our lead wasn't all that big. Not that I don't have faith in our freshmen, but I would rather be led by our experienced players to a bigger lead then put the freshmen on the floor. But, you definitely could be right - he might have wanted to see who was ready for MAC play.
Either way, it's a win (albeit a sloppy one). Regroup, work on fixing some things and regroup versus Akron. I will be back for that game and cheering on the sideline!

Go Falcons!

We really didn't destroy them last year either, while we did start the game with a 26-2 run, they actually outscored us the rest of the way from that point

I'll take the win and smile! :D We've had our struggles this year at times and have work to do but a 10-4 start is still very good.

MAC play opens Wed with Akron in town...BEAT THE ZIPS!!

TOGETHER WE ATTACK AND DEFEND OUR 5 STRAIGHT MAC TITLES!!
