78-60!
BG ladies topped Buffalo tonite, 78-60.... 4 starters in double figures... rather slow start (were losing by 4-5 after about 12-14 min. gone in 1st half....up by 7 at halftime.... guessing Curt might've "talked" to them a bit, because it sounded like a different team in 2nd half.... only listened to parts of game...but 3-0 isn't a bad way to start the MAC season... Hopefully, Joyce and I will get down to Kent on Sat. to see them "live and in person".

Excellent...take the W any day of the week!
For those thinking of going to Kent, admission is one lousy dollar. Saw it in the paper.

Look for us there.. Almost went to BG yesterday as Joyce had several NW Ohio business appts. sched. for today...but she didn't get out of work til it would've been too late to make the drive..AND see the game. We're still planning on going to KSU...and a "lousy" buck sounds good to me.

Re: 78-60!
And following this game, I check realtimerpi to find that our RPI has indeed fallen again...to 66th.
I'm starting to believe J4H and the other naysayers, that an at-large just isn't in the cards this season. Even if we beat Toledo and Eastern Michigan, there's just too many games against teams in the 200+ RPI range.
No matter what happens until the MAC tournament, this season is going to be judged based on whether or not we get the job done in Cleveland. If Curt Miller isn't expecting a bailout from the NCAA in the form of an at-large bid, then I'm not going to either.
