OSU destroying the Lady Bobcats

Post by Flipper »

With 12:30 minutes to go in Athens, OSU is up 68 to 26. The Buckeyes went out to 16-0 lead and have not looked back.

They are a VERY good team...

that's an understatement... even with the "VERY" in all caps...

btw, it's a final: Ohio St. 107, Ohio 37

ouch!

I wonder if any of OU's fans are itching to call it a "lambasting"??

OSU shot 68%, OU hit on only 21%...that was quite the train wreck, but entertaining nonetheless

OU's coach did something that I didn't quite understand. Everytime 2 minutes she put in 5 new players. I wasan't sure just did that last night against OSU to keep her girls fresh or if that is something that she always does. It didn't make much sense to me because I couldn't understand how the girls were going to get any continuity going when she is constantly putting in 5 new players.

I found that interesting myself (the platooning every two minutes). She may have been keeping her kids fresh, but they sure weren't able to get anything substantial going. I'm not familiar enough with their coach or the OU women's hoops program to comment on that style of play, but I was wondering the same thing ... does she do that every game, or was it just against OSU? I read today that OSU had seven girls reach double figures. That's a nice team they have down there.
