Redhawks beat the Huskies in Oxford by ONE point today, 67-66. Let the feathers FLY Wednesday at the Q!

Ball State wins easily versus Western in Muncie and will face Toledo on Wednesday.

Boy, that's a terrible draw for Toledo. The Cardinals smothered the Rockets earlier this season in Muncie and they're the defending champs. They'll have to be going full out 100% right off the bat.

Of course, that's not to say we won't be going 100%, seeing as the ugly specter of the Whammy beckons.

"Smothered?" Toledo only lost by 4 to the Cardinals in Muncie, but won by 14 against them at home. I agree with you, though - - it is definitely NOT a great bracket for Toledo to be in, as Ball State HAS got some vim and vigor with McDonald, Maggert, and Gratton.

Another consideration: Guess who Toledo plays IF they beat Ball State AND the higher seed team wins the other game in the same bracket? Wait.........wait for it...........here it comes: KENT STATE.

Mwha, ha ha!!

In other words, there is no excuse for not winning this tournament. You could go by the fact that we were incredibly young in 2008, or that Ball State really WAS that good in 2009, but this year, we have to get it done. Especially when the one team that is equal to us in talent and skill level has to run the gauntlet to get to NC's.

Hopefully BG can knock off MU for a third time this year as I won't be able to make this matchup. But I should be able to make the Semis and Final. :-D

TOGETHER WE ATTACK....MAC CHAMPS.

I tend to agree. The draw really could not be set up better for BG this year, especially with the two teams that beat them, and Kent State, in the other bracket.
