Dominating performance from the women today and it was long overdue. Great games by Breske and Nurse with Breske going for 20pts and Nurse with 14. We need to shoot this well Fri. and as well as ramp up the D as well. My guess is our next opponent will EMU. We beat em by a nice margin earlier in the year but we must be ready to face a better EMU team this time around.

Yeah, EMU isn't going to be a pushover, but then again neither will Akron. It gets harder from here, but we're arguably more talented and more battle tested than both the Zips and Eagles. That being said, our ladies will have to come raring and ready to go. We're two games away from the prize, can't let up now.

I wouldn't say that Nurse had a "great" game...but she was solid and did hit some big 3's... Jen Uhl and Tara Breske were dynamic inside, which ultimately opened up the spaces for the 3 pt. shooters...and I LOVED the way the ladies reacted with walkon Simone Eli hit her 3... They were jumping up and down...only 2 players did not score and one of them could have, but made a nice feed to a cutter for an easy layup on the opposite side of the hoop.
