Charlie Creme of ESPN has his latest Bracketology as of this morning, 3/13
Last year he got 62 of the 64 teams right, and the previous year he got 63 of 64. Somehow I think the selection committee and him must team up because that is pretty impressive and some of his picks and committee picks baffle us.
He has BG as a #13 seed. Personally I think that is too low. I prefer Realtimerpi latest bracket and has BG as a #11 seed playing UCLA in Pittsburgh.
Regardless Creme has BG as a #13 seed. He has Rutgers at 18-14 in the dance, which I don't agree with, even if they had a very tough SOS. The other thing I noticed is that he has Toledo as a future consideration as a bubble team for an at-large. Do you think he would have BG as a bubble team if they were happen to lose today?
We just need our girls to play like they have been the past couple weeks and Toledo to give the same effort as they did yesterday and we won't even need to worry about being on the bubble.

Well, here's the way I see it.
Bowling Green last year had a 28-4 record. According to realtimerpi, our RPI was 35 and our SOS was 161. This year, if we lose today we will stand at 26-7, with an RPI of 40 and an SOS of 154. That doesn't quite measure up with last year's team, which of course, got royally screwed.
So based on that alone, and given the propensity for the committee to take 12, 13, and 14 loss teams from the big conferences over anybody from the mid-major ranks, I don't see how we go dancing if we lose today. It's a lot of f'ing bullsh*t that anybody could rack up 54 wins over a 2-year span and not make NCAAs either time.

We know it is all prediction but Creme has BG as the #12 seed playing Virginia at Norfolk. It is not a home game for Virginia but only a 2 1/2 drive. I would take this over playing Iowa State @ Iowa, or Xavier @ Cincy, and not playing at South Bend as a #10 seed, because then we would play Notre Dame in the second round or Texas on its home court. Preferably I would like to play in Pittsburgh as I don't think that would be a home advantage for anyone.
We had a nice following to Vandy this year so if we were to play in Norfolk we would have a nice following. Norfolk and the beaches are a wonderful area to visit.

I really hope that he is right with this prediction. While I personally would love for BG to be playing in Austin like he projected a couple of weeks ago for personal reasons, the matchups Creme has in Norfolk would be good for us. None of the teams in that bracket really scare me.

Realtime.rpi has us as a #10 seed playing in Louisville. #10, hmmm, were we not a #10 seed when we made the sweet 16.

Actually, we were a #7 seed in 2007. We beat #10 Oklahoma State in round 1, and #2 Vanderbilt in round 2 before losing to #3 Arizona State.
