That is was, Freakling2. 27-7, another MAC regular season title and our 4th tourney title in the last 6 years. We just didn't hit shots in the second half against MSU.
We'll be back for title #7 next year.
Thanks you Seniors!! Tara, Laura, Sarah and Tamika...thanks for choosing to be FALCONS!!!!
TOGETHER WE ATTACK!!!

I think I'll be fine with title #7. I bet we get it too. It'll be title #8 that'll be really tough, as we lose a whole bunch of players following next season, Uhl, Pontius, Prochaska, etc.

Another great group of seniors - on the court and beyond. I don't fear the future with this program. The quality people associated with the program will always make the university, the fans and the alums very proud. Time to enjoy another great season and in a month or so look toward next year.

I think the key in keeping this thing going was that when Curt had his first good/great recruiting class (Ali, Carin, Liz) as seniors he then had his next good recruiting class (Lauren, Tracy, Jen) come in as freshman the following year. Those two recruiting classes have sustained this extended run.
Was last year's class with Steffan, Papenfuss, Tamerlano and Eli of the same quality to keep this thing going? Could next year's freshman class be that next good recruiting class to sustain this thing another four years? Only time will tell...but with Curt at helm I like our chances.
