Big Time Commit for 2011

Post by falconfan1 »

According to Jim Dabbelt's web site, Green High School's Logan Pastor has verbally committed to BG as of this past weekend. He posted this information in his blog Saturday. Pastor plays in a very competitive girl's basketball conference that has produced many D 1 players over the years. Her team has been very competitive in the league, the Akron area and the state. Her coach has called her the best player he has coached and said that she had received "over ten" D 1 offers- and that was awhile ago.

She is viewed as a very complete player and her coach called her the best passer he has ever seen. A good scorer, obviously a great passer and a capable rebounder, she is a looked upon as a versatile player and a super competitor. And a hard nosed defender.

Apparently any number of MAC and other schools viewed her in the same manner. But like so many players with this type of game over the years, she has committed to the Falcons. Perhaps folks who live in the Akron area have seen her in action and can add their comments.

Certainly looks like this key 2011 class will be very, very strong.

Go Falcons!

More info on Pastor. Sounds like a pretty good pg prospect to me. It seems we're going a little heavy on guards this upcoming recruiting season when we'll be losing some more fowards on top of last year, but i'm not up on our available schollies for next year.
