And then there were five?

Post by BigGibber »

The Lansing State Journal is reporting another BGSU verbal commit for 2011. Her name is Deborah Hoekstra, a 5'9" guard who made the Michigan Class A all-state team after averaging 20.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 4.3 steals per game. She also made 52 3-pointers. Below are links to the LSJ report and some youtube highlights of Deborah.

Am I correct that Deborah makes 5 commits for 2011?

Shanique Ogle - 5'11" Post - Southview HS, Lorain, OH

Jasmine Matthews - 5'9" Shooting Guard - Marian Catholic HS, Chicago Hts, IL

Kaila Hulls - 5'10" Guard/Forward - Bloomington South HS, Bloomington, IN

Logan Pastor - 5'8" Point Guard - Green HS, Green, OH

Have I missed any?

Wow, very guard heavy in this '11/'12 class. We're losing quite a bit at foward and center over this year. Not sure what coach is thinking on all the guards and wing forwards. This Hoeckstra looks like a very nice shooter and decent all-around player.
