BG vs UALR

Falcons face Arkansas-Little Rock this evening at 9pm ET. UALR is 2-1 with wins over Davidson and LA Tech , their only loss to Texas A&M. They are 3rd in the Mid-Major poll as we are ninth. This will be a tough game as UALR has plenty of athleticism on their team. Coach Miller's gameplan is probably centered around stopping 6'1 F Chasity Reed 23 pgm and 3 steals per game. Lauren and Havel will probably get a lot of time guarding her. This is prolly the toughest game to date and if we can get past the Trojans, it's smooth sailing till Vandy at home on Dec.1st.

BG falls behind 9-0 and went into a 2-3 zone, trailing by 1 at the half. In the second half, BG managed to go ahead and pull out the win as 4 players for UALR got into foul trouble.

Final 56-47

TP5 MISSED her first 4 FT's so she has to start a new streak (now 3). LP scored 23 on 15-15 FT's! She's (in a streak) and trails Ali Mann by 4 points for 2nd all time scorer.

Go Falcons.

hoopsfan, thanks for that post with the news. Very helpful for people not living in the BG area. Great win for us over a very good team. Also love that we won a "tough" and "tight" game. Thanks for the report!

Go Falcons!

Seattle Times reporter Jayda Evans wrote a few paragraphs about the game in her blog. Kind of important since she votes on the AP top 25 panel. Too bad she can't get Prochaska's first name right.
