Defense is smothering the RedHawks and MU has turned the ball over quite a bit leading to easy BG hoops.
GO FALCONS!!!

I can't wait to see the final stat sheet on how many 3-pointers we made. That was unreal.

per Mr John Wagner of the Blade:
4:07 p.m. -- Computer hiccup ... back at 'em now ... Post-game stats include Bowling Green making 29-of-57 shots from the floor (50.9 percent), including 13-of-29 3-pointers (44.8 percent), and 19-of-26 free throws (73.1 percent). Miami has made 17-of-43 shots from the floor (39.5 percent), including 3-of-8 3-pointers (37.5 percent), and 15-of-19 free throws (78.9 percent). ... Bowling Green won the battle of the boards, 32-25. ... Miami also committed 24 turnovers, which led to 40 points by the Falcons off turnovers, while BG had just 14 turnovers.

You know, that's a really great point. We don't beat Miami enough, across the board. Football is 2-3 against Miami in the last 5 years, Men's Basketball is 3-7, not sure about hockey but I know the record can't be good seeing as they're always ranked and we're, well, not.
Even women's basketball felt the sting of the whammy late in the 2009 season with a craptacular shooting game down in Oxford that might've cost them a trip to the NCAA tournament as it turned out. So it's great to see our ladies beat the poop out of Miami.
