Cannon Effect

There have been three BG losses this year, all by one point. In each, the team has fallen behind in the first few minutes and unable to completely rally. The opposition runs have been 50-16 overall (22-6 at Evansville, 11-2 at Kent, and 17-8 vs Toledo). The Falcons have been outscored 46-25 in the first 10 minutes of those games combined.
Maybe it's over analyzing what has been a very small section of the season (they have won 85% of the games, after all.) But geesh, what might have been.

...and what might still be! It's a long season and as the SIX time defending MAC Champ, until someone knocks BG off the top perch, we are still the team to beat.

BG wins out, UT slips up against Kent and one more time and Kent loses one other game besides to us and we are MAC champs once again. Still 10 games left in this race!!!

If BG wins out they will be much more than MAC Champs.

MAC women's hoops is very strong this year....BG, ut, Kent State, EMU, CMU are all quality teams. Akron and Buffalo are very competitive...Miami is still solid. Should be a great stretch run into the tourney.
