Interestingly, 3 out of the 4 winning teams are from the WEST division. Kent State and BG now tied for the EAST lead with 6-3 records. Toledo at 8-1 with Eastern nipping at their heels with a 7-2 record.

Even though Ball St. lost to OU, a surprise IMO, I'm expecting to see a close game on Sat. Honestly, for some reason, perhaps playing with "minor" injuries, we haven't played all that well since the game at Kent, where we got beat up a bit, though the score was tight. The target on our backs has gotten larger, and Curt has said that he feels this is the strongest the MAC has been in years, due chiefly to so many Seniors playing on nearly all the teams... I know he tends to stretch things at time, but I think he could be right on this one...seems like every team has 2 or more kids who're very good players...will be very interesting to see how the all league teams turn out this year at end of season.jburket wrote:Scores from tonight:
