On Saturday, the women play Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, MI! They are requesting all Falcon Faithful's to consider making the trip north!!!

Here's some of the reasons you need to be there:
--- It's the shortest road trip of the year (68 miles)
--- Cheap $3 tickets can be purchased through the BGSU Ticket office
--- BGSU and EMU are tied at 7-3....important game for tournament seeding

A huge crowd could make the EMU arena feel like OUR home court! As I recall from previous years, EMU doesn't attract a large crowd, and there have been more BG fans there for previous games!

Besides all that.......the players and coaches WANT you in the stands rooting for the Falcons!!! (It REALLY does make a difference.)

To summarize:

I'm planning on being there with at least 2 of my daughters. According to EMU's site, you can get in for free if you wear red.

If Falcon Boy was still here he may wear red to get into the game and then go to the restroom and change into brown and orange. Where is FB?? Did Birdman get him???

Hey everybody. Spread the word about the ticket deal to everyone you know. We want to "Pack their House" with our colors. Wear your Orange!! It does make a difference to the coaches and players to have a large crowd rooting for them.

Cough up the $3 and help out MAC athletics.

Option A: attend the BG women's game and stay around to cheer on the EMU men's team against Buffalo.

Option B: go to Mt. Pleasant to cheer on the CMU women's team against Kent and stay around to support the BG men's team.

Option C: attend the BG women's game. drive to Mt. Pleasant. attend the BG men's game.

Don't know if anybody has listened to the post-game audio from LP, but she thanked the BG faithful for making the trip and said "without them today I don't think we could have got this win."

How BiG was the BG faithful?

Total attendance was 700, even after all the discounted tickets and free admission. I would say there was only about 200 EMU fans, which is pathetic for a 16-8, 7-3 team. I would say about 500 BG fans. Not bad, personally I expected more. Honestly, some probably stayed home to watch the OSU - WIS game.
