FYI: Possibility of snow late tonight in Cleveland area

My daughter just called to let me know that the Cleveland area may be getting 6-10" of snow late tonight. If any one was planning on driving over tomorrow morning (like we were) you might want to reconsider and go over earlier. I just called several downtown hotels and they all had some available rooms.

Hope to see a sea of orange tomorrow, but please be safe.

The funny thing is, I looked at the radar a little bit ago, and I'm wondering what storm are they talking about? There's hardly any precipitation behind the current rain that's over eastern Ohio now. Maybe this is a lake-effect system they are expecting, because the predictions of 10-12 inches I'm hearing now pretty much came out of nowhere this morning.

I was surprised when she called and told me, too. But, I did check and their is a winter storm watch for Cuyahoga County for later today.

Good thing I live only 45 min from downtown...gives me plenty of time in case the weather turns bad.

Robert Shiels, channel 11 Toledo, had 7.9 inches predicted for Norwalk and probably more the farther east you go. (Only like 0.2 for BG though)

Must be a storm coming from Canada. While sitting here in the Q I pulled up The Weather Channel. It appears Port Huron, Mich, which is about an hour north of Detroit has Winter Strom Warning and they supposed to get 8 inches. However Detroit, less than an inch.

Must be coming from Canada and just clip the Cleveland area

And it is going to basically sit on top of NE Ohio for most of the day tomorrow.

Retrograding storm (moves NW instead of NE), kind of like a backdoor slider in baseball. Hope all of you stay safe!

Hard to say what we got in downtown Cleveland. Hard to measure looking out of a hotel window. I am guessing 6 to 8 inches. But it appears windy
