So she wasn't drafted?
That is correct. She has been invited to a training camp though.

Whose training camp has she been invited to attend? I think if Lauren projected bigger physically, it would have been a no brainer for some team.... her slender build makes her unique IMO, among elite women's players, especially if you look at the overall physical builds of the other women... her height is fine, but I'd bet scouts would question her ability to handle the physical play of the WNBA....
Too bad, as I really hoped she'd be the 1st Falcon ever to be drafted...and I think she deserved to be.

LP didn't get drafted but she did sign a free agent contract with the World Champions Seattle Storm. Training camp begins in less than a month. Congrats and best of luck to Lauren.

The Seatlle Storm opportunity is ideal for Prochaska. The Storm's coach Brian Agler knows Prochasksa well; he visited BG in pre-season. He has also seen her play in person a few times. Maybe Prochaska can land a roster spot as a 3pt specialist if her defense is good enough?

Put her on the floor when the other coach is about to lose his cool-technical foul shot specialist.

Did Lauren get released from the Seattle Storm? She is not on the roster for the upcoming season posted on the website.
Anyone have any information. Hope she can catch on somewhere.

The Seattle Storm waived Bridgette Mitchell and Lauren Prochaska.

Looks like Lauren is going to Eurpoe. Hopefully it works out with another WNBA shot!
By Jayda Evans, The Seattle Times:
...."Agler, a native of Ohio, saw Prochaska often since she starred at Bowling Green State.
Neither player performed as strongly as others in camp. Prochaska said she was wide-eyed at first.
"You're kind of star-struck at first when you walk in and see everyone, but you just try to hold your own and act like you belong here," Prochaska said. "Katie Smith is from Ohio and was definitely a big idol of mine when I was younger."
Mitchell, who was undrafted after graduating from Duke in 2010, recently played a season in France and planned to continue to pursue her dream to play in the WNBA.
Prochaska has an agent and will play overseas in the hopes of landing on a team, too.
Agler didn't want to travel with a full 15-player roster when the Storm plays an exhibition game at Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon."
