"Bowling Green State University women’s basketball fans get their first chance to see the 2011-12 Falcons in action Tuesday night (Nov. 1), as 11th-year head coach Curt Miller's team hosts the University of Findlay in the team’s lone exhibition game. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the brand-new Stroh Center.
Tickets to Tuesday's exhibition start at $5, and tickets to any of the Falcons' 2011-12 games are available through Ticketmaster."
START at $5.00???!!!
To charge us at all after all these years of free exhibition games is ridiculous and inexcusable.

]
GC must be taking the basketball program in a new direction.
BTW, got those season tickets printed yet?

Maybe the $5 is being donated? That's usually the case when it comes to exhibition games.

Naaaa. Just like to see my name in print.
Actually, I look forward to another exciting year of BGSU Women's Basketball. I am saddened by the news of Maribeth Giese, believing that she has worked hard and, like so many seniors before her, was really going to shine this season.
With regards to my complaints about seating arrangements and the sound system in previous posts in other threads, I believe I've voiced legitimate concerns [i.e. I've complained] expressed by other fans both verbally and in print.

Can you go to the Stroh Center box office day of game and get a ticket? I really don't want to use my debit card for a $5 game from ticketmaster.

Yes you can go the day of the game and buy a ticket. I would suggest you get there right at 6:00 PM so the line won't be too long. I assume the box office will open 1 hour before game time like it has been in the past. I wouldn't want to pay the extra fee to ticketmaster if I didn't have to.
Just get there a cheer the Falcons on.

I haven't seen the season tickets yet as a friend has mine...so one quick question. Is the exhibition game included in the season ticket package, or will I need to buy tickets for this game separately? Not a problem, just will make sure I get there a little earlier.

I was told this afternoon that it is included in the season ticket package.

It is also my understanding that the game is part of the season ticket package.
The question, if it doesn't sound like complaining, is: "Where are the season tickets?"

Those who attended the Tip-off Dinner were asked to pick up their ticket(s) following the function. Best bet is rest are in the ticket office waiting for their owners to get them. The tickets are really neat
sit in a commemorative folder
highlight the inaugural season at the Stroh.
Also included were 2 tickets to the November 16 football game vs. OU
Falcon Team Store Discount Card
Season Parking Pass (if Applicable)
Also buy Women's season ticket by 11/1/11, receive $5 discount on NCAA 1st & 2nd Round tickets. All sessions for $25.
Hope to see a good percentage of the 735 season ticket holders at the game Tuesday. may even be more now.
GO!!!!BG!!!!! BG ___ Roll Along!

Isn't there a saying, "You get what you pay for?" And who wants Toledo apparel, anyway?
BG's season ticket prices are very reasonable. I'm proud to support the women's basketball program; watching these talented ladies and their fine coaching staff is incentive enough for me to invest in season tix.
In other news, I thought my tickets were supposed to be mailed to me but they have not arrived yet. Can anyone confirm they will be available for pickup at the ticket office before the game? Of course I can just call the ticket office tomorrow but maybe somebody here will know.

Maybe our tickets are more because we have a better product!
