Cairnduff commits for 2012

We've known for a while where our singleton scholarship would go, but the news is official: Bailey Cairnduff signed with BG today for 2012.
John Wagner from The Blade had some nice comments on Bailey in the spring.
Bailey is a 5'10" a shooting guard and is described as having the athleticism to drive and get to the basket. It seems she was highly recruited, with Toledo and Central Michigan, from the MAC, and even Michigan, Oakland, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Grand Valley State all showing interest. Seems like a highly talented recruit!
I still feel we're a little short on forwards/centers, but Bailey is replacing Jess Slagle in her same position, so we should fare well. Plus, our first verbal for 2013, Karlee McBride, is a G/F who seems well suited to play the 4 in our system. In the long run, we'll be okay in the post, though still a little guard-heavy.
