Another win for the ladies.... 83-53..... Interesting in that many of the new players seemed to do a bit more scoring than the "vets" we're used to seeing. More good news as Curt "rebuilds".

7 in a row after starting to season 0-2. Also, Coach Miller passed Mark Ehlen for 2nd most overall wins in the MAC with 241...trailing only Bob Lindsay at Kent State. Congrats Coach!!!

4 players were in double figures today led by Danielle Havel's 13. 13 Falcons saw action today.

Great job Falcons!!!! BG will travel to Creighton next Sunday....TOGETHER WE ATTACK!!

Good win today......makes studying, finishing papers & projects less painful. The "student" part takes over this week with finals. Everybody take shots and score. Keep those grades up :!: We have the "athlete" part improving everyday for everybody in their own way.

YOU CAN :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

So much for this being a rebuilding year, lol. Had we beaten Purdue instead of losing by 1 we'd probably already be getting poll votes.

Agreed on Sue's message about finals...good luck to our athletes on those exams. That might've just made my day knowing that I don't have to go through those again.

Another cupcake -- I have a feeling the road games coming up will show us how tough this bunch will be.

I guess that Official that gave Curt the T has given Curt 5 technicals in three years! That Official should not be allowed to officiate BG games! Obviously he has it out for Curt Miller....officials are suppose to be fair and unbiased but that one sure wasn't and i didn't even hear him give Curt a warning! it seems to me that some officials have it out for BG and Curt Miller!

Or Curt knew what he was doing, wanted the T, and the ref gave him what he wanted

I remember Curt saying this exact thing, implicitly, a few years ago in a press conference. Sometimes he gets worked up on purpose to motivate his team. Sometimes he feels the game is getting too physical on a few of his players and he wants to pressure the refs into protecting his players. Or sometimes he's just upset with calls. Whatever the reason, Curt sometimes purposely uses technicals.

I also don't think any of us can claim to see what happens on the floor at all times. There are so many things going on at a game, players to watch, refs, crazy foot-stomping coaches, fans, the band, cheerleaders... I tend not to judge the "bias" of the refs because I know I can't see the game from their same perspective, nor hear what coaches or players say or do. Refs do a thankless job and they deserve far more credit.

And, anyway, I can't really say they were too biased against BG, during that timeout where Jacksonville didn't come out of their huddle fast enough for the refs... leaving only BG players on the court at the whistle. Easiest basket Shanique will ever have :)

Ah, the good ol' resumption-of-play procedure! Love it!
