I bet you are wondering why no game has sold out?! well lets count the most likely of reasons why!
1.Turning away fans for either A.taking a bottle of water into the game or B. Having suckers for their kids or C. Having an umbrella to stay dry when it is raining outside
2.Charging full price admission for kids
3. Well i'm sure there are more but those are the best
Gee i thought the University looked stupid before but after todays letter in the Sentinel, the univeristy looks more stupid!
the lady who wrote the letter says she ain't buying season tickets next year and honestly i don't blame her!

I like my irony with pie! Yum!
While I believe every paying BGSU fan should have their thoughts, opinions and concerns heard about the new arena and its policies, that this woman "doesn't feel safe" in the Stroh Center because security is somewhat overbearing is ridiculous. Because they wouldn't let someone bring in bottled water? Yes, it would be nice to bring your own food in from home, but if the new rule is that you can't, then you can't. Leave the drama at home. I understand there are cases where, medically, people would need small amounts of food or some candy with them, and those are issues that should be brought up and accommodated, but it's a two-hour basketball game. If you can't make it two hours without your Twizzlers, go home and get back in the bubble.

This was never an issue at Anderson Arena at all! i could bring water in without a problem! and the sercurity is overbearing! Why should anybody be forced to pay $3 for a bottle of a water?! they shouldn't have to! i can't count the times i got stopped so the tin soldiers could check my home made signs for the game and that also was never an issue at Anderson Arena either! From what i heard that the tin soldiers may be on their way out! i hope so!

You don't have to pay $3 for a bottle of water. There are several sinks in the facility. If you turn your hand palm side up and bend your fingers a little, it makes a nice cup-shaped object that can be used for collecting water and delivering it to your mouth. Nifty, really.

Well, I am off to the Stroh Center for the Kenny Rogers concert.
But first I will stop by Burger King and have dinner. Common sense tells me that I will eat my dinner inside the restaurant and not try to take it to the Stroh Center. Must be my BGSU education that allows me to know that I should not expect to enter the Stroh Center with food from outside of the facility. The same BGSU education that told me not to take food into Anderson Arena, or Doyt Perry Stadium. Even....God forbid......the one time I went there......the .......Glass Bowl ...or even.....Savage Arena (Savage Hall, whatever they are now calling the old Centennial Hall).
For those of you without a BGSU education, then it would just be.....COMMON SENSE.

Anybody remember the good old days of Anderson Arena when Craig Lammers would bring a quart of ice cream in and devour the whole thing before the game even started?
What memories!

Hands for cups? That's Living the high-life. Just turn your head and drink from the faucet.
