BG receiving votes!

BG received 6 votes in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. I guess I'm a little surprised. Even given our record, our RPI is simply not that good - most of the teams we beat have losing records. I guess somebody looked into the quality of our losses (#21 Purdue and Creighton both by narrow margins, and Dayton as a quality team). Not even Dayton received votes this week.
I guess this speaks volumes about BGSU's reputation and the work ethic of this team this year. Kudos to Curt Miller for finding a way, yet again, to build a great new team even with so many new faces. I'm looking forward to MAC play - that's will this young team will really be challenged, because the MAC is extremely strong this year.
