I am wondering....Kent State roster has only 10 players, 6 Freshmen and 4 Juniors. Where did everyone else go? Can't believe they graduated that many girls and couldn't fill out their roster. Anyone else have a clue?

I believe Curt mentioned during a post game interview that Kent had graduated 6 seniors last year like we did, and also lost others who transferred.

Had eleven on the roster last year. From comparing the two rosters, lost 5 players to graduation and all 3 Freshmen from last year are gone. Only two Jr. and a Soph remained and they are listed as Jrs. on this year's rosters. As one would expect with such turnover especially a dead recruiting class from 2010 Kent is 1-9.

BG rolls over KSU, 76-57!! Chrissy Steffan had another huge game...27 pts, 10 rebounds. Alexis Rogers chipped in 16 and Jess Slagle added 12.

Whoo Hoo! 1-0 MAC...I can't wait to get to the Stroh Saturday. First women's game at the new digs for the Freaks.

From the box score it said it was a "bench technical" so it could be just about anything. It wasn't specifically given to anybody.

Perhaps the ref was offended that Curt broke his clipboard.

Was fun to watch BG play, but the execution still looks sloppy, with not many contributions from anyone other than Chrissy, Lex, and Jess... still, I'll take a win , whether we have to grind it out or not! Go Falcons!

Admittedly comparing this group to the last group, I find it quite interesting that this group doesn't come close in shooting % OR FT %, which we'd grown accustomed to. But they hit the boards much better and seem better defensively and aggression wise. It's as if Curt and Co. have discovered a new way to win with a basically new roster of players.

Technical reported as bench but she gave it to Curt. He was protecting his team 'cause the ref swallowed her whistle. IMO he felt we were getting fouled under the basket with no calls whereas we touched them at the other end & the whistle blew. After the T she tried to explain herslf 'cause they had several conversations.BiG case of "rabbit ears"+ I think Curt was right. Curt will take those defending his players...this season.

Execution still has lulls. last play of 1st half really fired up a couple of coaches.....scouting reports & game plans are a large part of what drives Curt's teams.......Yea the coaches are able to find ways to win with the people they recruit. There's just alot of people on the bench who were on the bench or in HS playing who are now working on Frack court.

Going to each game watching for new wrinkles in this team & their play.

Contributions come from all who go into the game.....Jasmine on their best guard freeing Chrissy to go off on our end, Papp with her spark & rebounding throwing down a few......if you don't show up & work you sit the bench. I think in most games everybody's had minutes....look harder for the little things some don't make the score sheet but if they don't happen we don't win......grind it out is ok with me! 1 more pt than the other team means something

personally i think the "T" was unwarranted! i sure voiced my opinion about the "T" and i didn't care if anybody liked or not and then i proceeded to hold up my "the ref has no brains/is blind" sign and i know the refs could see it and the older woman official was the better of the three and i would rather have her officiate all of our games from now on cause at least i know she is unbiased and will call the game both ways! and man it must suck for Kent being 1-10! OUCH!
