MAC Streaming w/radio broadcast

While at the Stroh yesterday I was also streaming the game from the MAC feed. It's about 15 seconds behind I would say, maybe its just the lag or maybe it is also because I was viewing on an IPhone. One thing that I think needs to be addressed is that the radio broadcasters need to be aware that even though its a time out and they are not heard on the radio because of the time out they are heard on the MAC video stream. On two of the occasions one of broadcasters swore during a time out, another time he was talking about getting a call at 2am from his girlfriend. Another time he mentioned he was going to go out drinking. He once was making fun of some fan behind the basket. Buy the one that really stood out was both broadcasters were rating girls in the stands. Then a little while later they mentioned that the girls appeared to be too young for them and more likely high school girls. I know there were a few instances on the men's side when Todd Walker said a few things he probably wish he could take back. It's great being able to stream the games. They are not the best quality but something does need to be addressed about the dialogues during time outs.

Do the announcers even know that their off-air comments make the stream? I can't imagine that this stuff would be said if they knew, unless they were complete azzholes and didn't give a crap what people heard on the stream. Sounds like somebody in the audio department needs to speak with them about this...because a lot of the things you mentioned are at best unprofessional and at worst downright profane.

It's not just BG. Similar issues when I watched a few men's games at other schools. They are just talking and conversing like they normally do. I was however trying to find the young girls whom they thought were attractive in the stands. But it is something every school needs to address. A few weeks ago Todd Walker was talking during the commercials about how bad the officiating was. Of course on the radio you wouldn't hear it but on the live stream you hear it all.

Definitely not just BG, as I've watched some women's away games on the computer, too. Some pregame remarks as well as time out remarks made me laugh, but they should never have gone out on the air. I'm not sure who to contact.
