Actually, more appropriate to say "not YET National COY" ... he's still a finalist. http://www.hoopfeed.com/content/2012/03 ... announced/

Though, IMO, Muffet McGraw will receive the award for her outstanding work at Notre Dame this year. But at least it seems Curt will get a trip to Denver for the ceremony :) A well deserved honor!

Except he's 1 of 8 finalists, with the COY to be determined, and we are not.

I would be shocked if the award went to anyone other than Kim Mulkey at Baylor. The good news is that Curt will either be Male Coach of the Year, or will be runner-up to his former boss for that prestigious award! :wink:
