I will credit bad timing on mine being the 3nd post. Looking back at the 3 threads, I see that Falcon Commander posted at 6:35. HoopsFan posted at 6:37, most likely writing at the same time Falcon Commander. Since it was the very last thing in sports on Toledo 11 6:00 News, I started mine shortly after 6:30, decided to see if there was anything online to confirm what I thought I heard before pressing
Submit, found the Blade online (which said it had been updated 9 minutes previously), did not go back to the forum to see if anyone else had posted the story yet (obviously MY error since I would have found two already and would have had no need to post mine), added the Blade link, and then pressed
Submit.
If I had double checked the postings and had seen that Falcon Commander had posted 10 minutes before I did and 2 minutes before HoopsFan, who had posted it 8 minutes before I did, I would not have posted the same information since, containing the same link , it would have been redundant, and, as it turns out, it IS redundant.
Hopefully this clears up why there were 3 nearly identical threads on the same issue.
I deeply and humbly apologize for my part in causing your need to question 3 threads and musicman's need to applaud our collective redundancy.
I also confess to not checking to see if anyone had done the math, figured it out for themselves, and cleared up the situation while I was writing all this crap. I also could not check while I was writing to see if anyone posted the update, but didn't see anything before I started writing all this crap.
The moderator has my permission to delete my thread so that there are only two threads on the same subject, although with your knowing I do respect you and your opinions, perhaps we could do a bit of verbal sparring. Lord knows we could use the entertainment.
