Kaila Hulls
Kaila Hulls
Kaila suffered another ACL tear in her right knee during preseason conditioning at IU. This was reported Aug 27 on the IU athletics website. NCAA hasn't ruled on her eligibility for this season, but it doesn't matter now.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Re: Kaila Hulls
This is too bad for her...looks like she can't stay healthy no matter where she's at. Wonder if this is a
"congenital" problem...i.e. weakness in the ACL area.
Get healthy Kaila...too bad we never got a chance to see you play (though I saw you beat the guys in the 3pt. contest during midnite madness last year).

Female are 4 to 10 times more likely to suffer ACL injuries. Has to do with the mechanics of their jumping and body types (wider hips compared to males, etc.)

Re: Kaila Hulls
Women's knees are also constructed with more of a notch than men...men's knees are more rounded. So...women's knees have less structural give to them.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
